Largest sugar producer expands in food sector

Krajowa Spółka Cukrowa S.A. (KSC) is the largest sugar producer in Poland. Established in 2002, the company’s share in the domestic sugar market is close to 40 percent. It is one of the top 100 largest companies in Poland in terms of sales revenue and capital. With seven sugar manufacturing companies located in five Polish provinces, the company processes more than 5 million tons of sugar beet, which is grown on over 80,000 hectares and is supplied by over 15,000 growers. It is offered in different types and sizes of packaging. The basic offer for consumers is white sugar in a 1 kg package, as well as premium white sugar and baking sugar. It also offers white sugar cubes, coarse sugar and powdered sugar for baking and decorating, as well as a range of brown sugars. The brand has strengthened its position in the market and continues to play a major role in the food sector in Poland and throughout Europe.

Polskie Przetwory Sp. z o.o. in Włocławek is a production facility with more than 60 years of tradition. The company mainly produces tomato products. The key product line is ketchup, both plain and flavored, in mild and spicy versions. Other products in its offer are tomato paste and tomato juice. Ketchup and concentrate are also available in formats suitable for the food service industry. The company is developing its production for the B2B industry, in the range of vegetable purees, tomato concentrates and fruit purees.
